Deutsch: Über blauem Schildfuß, darin eine mit roten Punkten bestreute silberne Forelle, in Gold eine rote Kapelle (Zelle) mit linksstehendem Turm, umgeben von vier roten Rundtürmen mit Kegeldächern und einer gleichfalls ziegelgedeckten roten Mauer mit geschlossenem Tor, über dem eine Nonne mit schwarzem Ober- und silbernem Untergewand hervorlugt.

Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde nahm dieses auf die namengebende klösterliche Zelle hinweisende Wappen zwischen 1928 und 1930 an. Auf diese vom Kloster Ellwangen errichtete Zelle, ein Frauenklösterlein, das schon bald nach dem Jahr 1170 sein Ende fand, geht die Siedlung zurück. Da der blaue Schildfuß mit der Forelle auf die Jagst hinweisen soll, ist das Wappen „redend". Das Landratsamt hat die Flagge am 13. November 1980 verliehen.
