Object history Das Kreuz (Kurtrier) veranschaulicht die segensreiche, aufbauende und friedliche Herrschaft der Erzbischöfe und Kurfürsten von 1326 bis zur Besetzung durch die Revolutionstruppen 1799. Palme und Steine weisen auf den Kirchenpatron, den hl. Stephanus, der als Schutz- und Pfarrpatron bereits 1552 nachgewiesen werden kann. Auch im Lutzerather Gerichtssiegel von 1677 ist der hl. Stephanus abgebildet (LHAKo 1 C 11472).
