Deutsch: Das im Siegel überlieferte Bild mit dem Gebäude und den zwei Türmen weist wohl auf die seit dem 14. Jahrhundert anzunehmende Baugestalt des Marktes hin. Pförring, schon 780 als Faringa erstmals urkundlich belegt, kam 1007 als Schenkung Kaiser Heinrichs II. an das Domkapitel von Bamberg. Schon 1310 wird Pförring Markt genannt. 1318 erhielt der wichtige Ort an der Donau durch Kaiser Ludwig den Bayern ein Privileg über das Marktrecht, 1361 durch Herzog Stephan II. das Recht des Brückenschlags und der Erhebung von Brückenzoll. Nach der Verfügung der Herzöge Ernst und Wilhelm von 1417 wurde der Markt weiter befestigt. Der weiß-blaue Rautenschild, der im 19. Jahrhundert auch zwischen den Türmen schwebend dargestellt wurde, verweist auf die Landesherrschaft der bayerischen Herzöge. Das Pförringer Wappen ist erstmals an dem am Großen Brandbrief von 1374 hängenden Siegel nachweisbar, das eine damals noch seltene deutsche Umschrift trägt (S[IGEL] DER PVRGAER ZE PFERIGEN). |
