Description

Escudo del municipio de Dosquebradas (Risaralda).

"El escudo se divide en cuatro cuarteles: El primer cuartel es de color gris donde están representados dos arroyos o quebradas que le dan el nombre a nuestro Municipio. El segundo cuartel es de color verde y tiene plasmado un poporo, por ser esta obra de arte aborigen de los Quimbayas, quienes eran los antiguos pobladores del hoy territorio dosquebradense. El tercer cuartel es de color amarillo; en el aparece un piñón de catorce dientes que es el símbolo de la pujante industria. El cuarto cuartel es de color gris en el cual se encuentra el monograma de Dosquebradas, letras D y Q entrelazadas, en letras rojas con bordes negros; cuarteles estos que están enmarcados por un borde rojo y azul. El escudo fue aprobado por acuerdo 015 de Noviembre 18 de 1985."
