Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Togüí (Boyacá).

"Escudo cortado y medio partido por la cruz que simboliza fe y bendición de Dios Creador. En campo diestro un engranaje en bronce mordiendo el corazón de la caña de azúcar, que simboliza la industria panelera. En campo siniestro una mano libre de ataduras de grillete y eslabón que empuña la antorcha encendida que representa libertad y soberanía deportiva. En la mitad posterior un sol figurado de oro sobre las aguas que bañan el verde abrigo de grandes montañas donde reposa el silencio y pacifico Togüí. Sobre el escudo hay una cinta dorada con la divisa “TOGÜÍ”, adornan el escudo dos banderas cruzadas detrás de el, con los colores del Municipio y el departamento de Boyacá; y en la punta una cinta dorada con la divisa LIBERTARES Y PAX del latín LIBERTAD Y PAZ.
