Description Escudo de la Provincia de Valencia: Escudo cuadrilongo rectangular apuntado en la base un poco inclinado a la izquierda, con la cuatro Barras de Aragón (de oro, cuatro palos de gules). Rodeando el escudo lambrequines de sinople que salen de un yelmo con mantelín de azur con una Cruz de Santiago de gules, surmontando al yelmo, una corona real abierta, que porta encima el casco del Rey Jaime I de Aragón, del que sale una pata de oro. según Gran Enciclopedia de la Comunidad Valenciana, editado por Prensa Valenciana. Some of the exceptions are:

  • Corporations with distinctive symbols that coincide with those of the Valencian Community can maintain them (art. 11).
