Die Segnenden Hände sind ein Symbol, dass sich auf Grabsteinen von Männern findet, die dem Geschlecht Aarons entstammen. Bis zur Tempelzerstörung durch die Römer stellten die sog. Kohanim die Priester, später sprachen sie noch an Freitagen den Segen aus.
