Description
Română: Karl Storck - Macheta bisericii Mănăstirii Curtea de Arges, lemn de tei şi mesteacăn, tablă de plumb, aurită, patinată, 122x220x230cm, semnat și datat dreapta jos cu ulei negru K. Storck 1867, inventar 915389 - Muzeul Storck din București. Machetă realizată după desenele lui Ludwig Reissenberger şi Gaetano Burelly pentru expoziţia Universală de la Paris, 1867. Biserica are un plan triconc cu absidele aparente şi patru turle, două deasupra peretelui dinspre vest, mai mici, au decoraţia răsucită pentru a crea monumentalitate. Faţadele bisericii prezintă bogate decoraţii în relief plat, constând din motive caucaziene şi islamice. Pereţii exteriori sunt împărţiţi în două zone suprapuse demarcate printr-un brâu, împletiti în şuviţe.
