Română: Ogradă părăsită sau Casă ţărănească, Ulei pe pânză, 27 x 40,5 cm, nr.inv. 1632/50 - Muzeul Naţional Cotroceni - BUCUREŞTI. Peisaj cu casă ţărănească românească aşezată în partea dreaptă a compoziţiei. Ograda cu păsări ocupă primul plan, iar în plan îndepărtat, jumătatea stângă se deschide un peisaj luminos, într-o cromatică de albastru deschis, ocru deschis gri şi galben. Casa şi ograda sunt realizate într-o cromatică predominant închisă de brunuri, griuri şi culori de pământ. Accentele în culori deschise apar pe zidul casei şi pe animalele prezente în ogradă. Atât tematica, cât şi abordarea plastică de tip clasic, împreună cu coloritul într-o gamă sobră, plasează pânza în perioada Rucăr - Câmpulung (1867), perioadă bine delimitată în traseul evolutiv al artistului. |
