Germaine schrijft (maart 2009): nl::Bestand:Overgang_Woestijn_Savanne_Bos1.PNG (is overgenomen uit een website/programma dat auteursrechtelijk beschermt is). Ik durf het oordeel te betwijfelen. Het figuur bevat inhoud van openlayers (klik in het genoemde programma (link naar flasheart) maar eens op openlayers en zoom in op Afrika!) Je ziet dat de gehele inhoud, alle pixels, zijn vrijgegeven onder de juiste licentie. De 'still' die ik daar uit gemaakt heb is dus onder licentie vrijgegeven. Door te melden wie die licentie alszodanig vrijgeeft (een programma waar copyright op zit: flasheart) geef ik aan hoe ik aan mijn opmerkingen over de licentie kom. Verder doet ditprogramma (waar copyright op zit) er niet toe, dus ook niet of er op dat view-programma copyright op zit: de (open-licentie) beelden die het vrij geeft onder licentie, daar gaat het om. Ik laat deze figuur dus staan. Wellicht is het voor jou (en andere lezers die deze programmatuur (concurrentie van de gesloten software Google-maps) en open-layers (concurrentie van de gesloten data/luchtfoto's in Google Maps) niet kennen duidelijker wanneer ik het programma niet noem en alleen memoreer aan Open-Layers. TCN; bij deze (11-3-2009) is de metadata (beschrijving totstandkoming vereenvoudigd).
