Summary[edit]

Description Growing on a stump in Christchurch Park. ID thanks to Geoffrey Kibby via Kew Gardens. Although the ID of this fungus isn't completely definite despite examination by a top mycologist, P petasatus is the most likely. The only record of this species in Suffolk on the British Fungi Records Database was in 1931!
