Description
Русский: Младший научный сотрудник ИГМ СО РАН Картозия Андрей с 30 кг на плечах в предвкушении завершающей части геологического маршрута - вечернего променада по тундре до НИС "Остров Самойловский". Переносимая им так называемая "коса", представляет собой кабель, который прикрепляется к специальному оборудованию в ходе геофизических исследований. Фотография сделана после электротомографии термокарстовой котловины на одном из островов дельты реки Лены. В будущем, уже "на материке", с помощью полученных данных о внутреннем строении многолетнемерзлых грунтов, в совокупности с анализом данных дистанционного зондирования и ботаническими исследованиями, будут восстановлены процессы, которые привели к формированию изучаемой термокарстовой котловины, а также сделаны определенные палеоклиматические и палеогеографические выводы.
