Stema oraşului Tăuţii-Măgherăuş, potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat.

În partea dreaptă, în câmp albastru, se află o daltă şi un ciocan de argint, dispuse în săritoare.

În partea stângă, în câmp roşu, se află un ciorchine de strugure cu frunze, de aur.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Dalta şi ciocanul reprezintă activitatea specifică zonei, mineritul, acestea fiind elemente existente în vechea stemă a localităţii, din anul 1807.

Ciorchinele de strugure simbolizează bogăţia viticolă a zonei.

Coroana murală cu trei turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraş.

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
