English: Dutch dressage champion Anky van Grunsven won gold on the 2000 en 2004 Olympics with her horse Bonfire. Location: Erp. Meierijstad, North Brabant, The Netherlands.
Nederlands: Meervoudig Olympisch medaillewinnaar. Samen met zijn vaste amazone Anky van Grunsven behaalde Bonfire (1983) vele nationale en internationale overwinningen. Tijdens de wereldruiterspelen van 1994 in Den Haag werd Anky met Bonfire voor het eerst wereldkampioen. Het laatste optreden van Bonfire was tijdens de Olympische Spelen van 2000 in Sydney. Anky en Bonfire werden olympisch kampioen. Inmiddels is de bruine ruin met pensioen. |
