I want to use this picture but don't know how to attribute for it. On the picture page is the following statement

"You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work)."

But I cannot find where the author specified how to use it.

Please help.

Albert

You need 1) credit the author; for example, putting this below the image: (C) Markus Bernet (via Wikimedia-Commons)
2) you need to mention the license and should add a link to the license text or license deed, which is a) CC-BY-SA and b) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.de

I want to use the picture in a picture carousel. So I cannot put text below the image. Would it be enough if I put all the mentioned information into the masthead page of my Internet site?

Albert

I have no idea what a "picture carousel" is. May be it would be better to directly contact the author/user User:MRB. You can send him an email from his userpage; but first you need to create an own account on Commons. --Túrelio (talk) 17:36, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can see it on www.sport-eckert.de in the header of the home page. I created now an account but can not find the place where i can write to the owner.

Albert

Just go to User:MRB, then look at the left column for the third frame and click on "Email to this user". --Túrelio (talk) 18:54, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
