Your renaming of the File:Pentaerythrit.svg was not a correction of an incorrect name, you simply translated the German term into English. From my point of view this is not a disaster, but this action was simply wrong. --Mister Pommeroy (talk) 15:14, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How so? The picture depicts the synthesis, not just the compound. I could have renamed in "Pentaerythrit Darstellung" (or any translation of it), but it wasn't the suggested name.
