{{Check categories}} removal does not work

I've been trying to remove {{Check categories}} from File:Schützenkompanie.JPG using Hotcatcheck, and I get this error message:

Unable to remove "Check categories" with the API

redirect-appendonly

You have attempted to edit using the "redirect"-following mode, which must be used in conjuction with section=new, prependtext, or appendtext.

Hotcatcheck didn't remove the template, and I didn't remove it manually either so that you can reproduce it. darkweasel94 09:27, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
