MediaWiki talk:Hidden-categories

This is the interface message displayed before the listing of categories with the attribute __HIDDENCAT__. By default these categories are not displayed in namespaces other than the Category namespace. In the Category namespace, they are labelled "Non-topical/index" (because they are always displayed). Otherwise, they are labelled "hidden category" or "hidden categories" if they are displayed, depending on how many there are to display. See COM:HIDDENCAT. Note: The "Non-topical/index" label may not be used in other languages, in which case the label "hidden categories" will be used. |
Update
[edit]{{editprotected}} To update the message, please move MediaWiki talk:Hidden-categories/update to MediaWiki :Hidden-categories. See Commons_talk:Categories for talk. -- Docu at 06:44, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- I don’t know, is this a feature, or a bug? Shouldn’t “hidden categories” be hidden even on category pages? This is strange, and even stranger solving it by a parser function in MediaWiki message.
- But OK, Done (your responsibility ;-) )
