English: Shudraka (IAST: Śūdraka) was an Indian king and playwright. Three Sanskrit plays are ascribed to him - Mrichchhakatika (The Little Clay Cart), Vinavasavadatta, and a bhana (short one-act monologue), Padmaprabhritaka.
Français : Shûdraka (शूद्रक) est un prince, poète et auteur dramatique indien qui aurait vécu avant -600 avant notre ère. On lui attribue le Mrichhhakatikâ (मृच्छकटिका) ou Le chariot de terre cuite, classique de la littérature sanskrite.
