English: The statue of Sir Bobby Robson 54°58′28.21″N 1°37′19.26″W / 54.9745028°N 1.6220167°W / 54.9745028; -1.6220167 in Newcastle upon Tyne was unveiled on 6 May 2012 outside Newcastle United F.C.'s home stadium St James' Park.

Sculpted by Tom Maley, it was commissioned by the club and was unveiled nearly three years after his death on 31 July 2009. It followed the opening on 23 May 2011 of the Sir Bobby Robson memorial garden, commissioned by the city council and regeneration company NE1Ltd, sited a short distance away on Gallowgate.

Robson was manager of the club from 1999 until 2004, his last managerial appointment. He supported the club as a boy, and had taken them to three consecutive top-five finishes in the Premier League and into the UEFA Champions League twice.

It stands at the top of the steps to the concourse outside the box office, which is situated in the south west corner of the ground between the main stand to the west (The Milburn Stand) and the southern end (The Gallowgate End). This was previously the location of a fibreglass statue of Jackie Milburn from 1996 to 1999. The statue depicts Robson in a suit and tie staring away from the ground, hands in pockets and a ball at his feet.

The bronze sculpture is nine and a half feet tall and is mounted on a stone plinth. A plaque on the plinth simply reads Sir Bobby Robson 1993-2009 England Newcastle United
