Hi. I just had a chance to look at some news reports at Voice of America, where much of the materials is in public domain. There images are, honestly, not as good as what's already here. But some are still potentially useful. I hope someone will evaluate what's available and useful.

1. Their terms of use, including copyright terms. http://www.voanews.com/english/disclaim.cfm
   • What they say basically, as I understand, is that some materials, especially photos, are from AP, and not for us to re-use. Contents exclusively made by VOA is in public domain.

   • The second photo bears "AP Photo" superimpose. The first one does not. I suppose that is how we can distinguish. See, for a similar example, this page

Thank you for this information, I just added Image:Yanukovych.jpg to the gallery, sometimes it seems the AP-tag is also part of the filename, as in the pic of Yarema. --Elya 21:16, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

To complete this, years later, the image of Yanukovych from http://www.voanews.com/english/archive/2004-10/2004-10-29-voa41.cfm is from AP.
