Image:M60A3.jpg[edit]

I changed the caption here for two reasons. First, the photo's metadat says nothing about Iraq. Second, while I'm no expert on M60A3s in Iraq, I'd be very surprised if our tanks went over complete with SAAB and simulators. Rklawton 15:52, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Title Change[edit]

Since the US Patton family of tanks extends to the M60 and M46, the title should be "M47 and M48." Otherwise, the article should be merged with the M46 page and the M60 page with "tank" being plural. Feedback please! --LCoolo (talk) 23:53, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With pages for the M60, etc., this page is redundant. Rklawton (talk) 12:45, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But do you think that the title should be changed?--LCoolo (talk) 00:45, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"Patton tank" is fine. But the description requires changing. See Wikipedia. Rklawton (talk) 19:46, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking of M60s, we never called them the "Patton". We just called them "60s" or "A1" "A2" or "A3". This stands in contrast with the M1 Abrams which went by either. Rklawton (talk) 21:51, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
