Power strip failure
[edit]In the main body of the article on power strips it said that the surge protection degrades silently over time. How do you know if this has happened, and it time to replace it? I have one with a neon light built into the on off switch. The switch still works to turn the strip on or off, but the light has flickered and died. Does this mean that the surge function is no longer functional?
