Usage
Template:ISO 639 name he is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code he, for example: {{Translated page |he |name of page at Hebrew Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Hebrew Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Hebrew Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |he}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|he| some text in Hebrew}} wraps the text with <span lang="he"> and includes galleries in Category:Galleries containing Hebrew-language text. Also available is {{Lang-he |some text in Hebrew}} which displays as עברית: some text in Hebrew.
- {{Link language|he}}, {{he icon}} displays the language of an external link. These templates could add galleries to Category:Galleries with Hebrew-language external links (may be created using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=he |name=Hebrew}}).
- {{R from other language|he|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Hebrew-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|he}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Hebrew-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
