- {{PD-China}} — template is incompatible with URAA: work is in the public domain in China, but its status in the United States must be specified separately. Applies to China works which entered the public domain after January 1, 1996 (PRC) or January 1, 2002 (ROC).
- {{PD-China-1996}} — template is compatible with URAA: work is in the public domain both in China and the United States. Applies to China works which entered the public domain before January 1, 1996 (PRC) or January 1, 2002 (ROC).
- {{PD-China-expired}} — template covers several additional cases, when work is in the public domain both in China and the United States, if it was published before January 1, 1929.
