[edit]Regarding the removal of {{Attribution}}, please note that while the images might be old (e.g. pre-1985), we need to verify if they have been published before that date in order to claim {{PD-RO-photo}}. This cannot be done in bulk, as opposed to using the current template.--Strainu (talk) 14:37, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Strainu: I see the publication problem, but why is ComInRo the copyright holder of all of these? I don't know anything about Romanian law, but in most countries the copyright holder is usually the author or employer. Guanaco (talk) 22:49, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- Well, yes, presumably these are pictures they commissioned or bought the rights for. The site belongs to the National History Museum of Romania, which digitized part of their archive this way, they're not just taken off the Internet.--Strainu (talk) 23:09, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Strainu: I find this claim hard to believe. Unfortunately it's extremely common for archives and museums to claim copyright to images where they simply own some physical copy. Guanaco (talk) 23:14, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
