Without uploading an SVG file, one may barely use LaTeX commands to produce the commutative diagrams like what nLab does. By doing this it will be very convenient for the future revisions. However it may significantly reduce the elegancy. For example, ${\begin{array}{c}Y{\xrightarrow {\quad g\quad }}X\\{}_{1_{Y}}\searrow \quad \swarrow _{f}\\\quad Y\end{array}}$ is an alternative for the diagram .
