Suggested {{PD-US-unpublished-text}}
[edit]This template can be deleted. {{PD-old-auto-unpublished}} will call {{PD-US-unpublished|deathyear}}.
Notes
[edit]There are no files currently calling {{PD-US-unpublished-text}} directly. It appears to be used only when called by {{PD-old-auto-unpublished}}. This means deathyear is always known when this template is used.
When {{PD-US-unpublished|deathyear}} is called with a value that means the work is copyrighted (like 1955), the template could call {{No permission}}. If the date of public domain entrance is soon, perhaps it could be automatically undeleted, but that's another matter.
