How to create a new REDIRECT to an image ?

• Open existing REDIRCET [[File:GR-EO-34a.svg]] by clicking on link saying "Redirected from File:GR-EO-34a.svg"
  
• Call EDIT-mode,
  
• revise target-filename to desired new file name, then show Preview.
  
• shift-click onto Redlink shown in Preview to get page "Create new file ..." and proceed with both files as appropriate.
