I'm an academic who has used Wikipedia as a resource tool for many years, and I rate it highly. I'm also an experienced writer and editor of articles and books, and I hope that my expertise will be useful at some point.

Interests

My main interest is in film culture and history. Within that, I have a special interest in visual design, including costume and sets, and I'm fascinated by the relationship between fashion and film. I would love to write a book on the French filmmaker, writer, artist and designer Jean Cocteau -- the inspiration for my user name.
