Kannada Kannada: ದಾಕ್ಷಾಯಣಿ Dakshayani , Sati is the goddess of marital felicity and longevity in Hinduism. An aspect of Adi Parashakti, Dakshayani is the first consort of Shiva, the second being Parvati who is the reincarnation of Sati.

STORY OF DAS FAMILY AND DURGAPUJA
Das family is from kolkata Now situated in Delhi. Rahul das younger soon of Lt. Mr. Ranjan Das always worship maa durga from his childhood and he is very keen to draw maa durga painting very much when he grown up they started puja at their home in Bengalis its called GHOOT PUJO every year they did puja in 2018 prior to Durga puja Lt.Sh.Ranjan das got dream one night of MAA DURGA (the dream which family comes to know in early morning is all about dream of maa durga which Lt.sh. Ranjan das got yesterday’s night those days are very crucial for their family because that time the health of Lt.sh. ranjan das was not good so, As according to him the dream he got he explained to his family that maa durga came in his dream and said that she need a puja from their family and the main thing he told that maa said that she wants murti puja of aastha dhatu and which they should buy it from krishna place that is Nawadeep Krishna Nagar West bengal. After that in 2018 that year Lt.sh Ranjan das was expired in September 22 so, on that year the puja was not done by Das Family according to rituals in Bengali after completion of 1year any subh work will start again so, after completion of 1year in 2019 September Das family will announced their first stepping stone of DURGA PUJA during Sharodh utsav.
STORY OF MAA DURGA MURTI IN DAS FAMILY
As Previously told that maadurga of das barir was bought from krishna’s place Nawadeep West Bengal. For this the whole duty is given to the younger member of family (Mr.Rahul Das). As he said to maintain the dignity and the rituals and the most important part his father dream that maa should only from navadeep not from anywhere in kolkata so, according to him he said its was tough to found a murti according to his fathers imagination he said that his father said that the place where krishna get worshiped and where NITAI GOUR were chants the name of krishna everywhere from that place you have to take DURGA for your home. After this recalling statement from his father last wish he, said it was tough to found in nawadeep so he went their he searched in many place and it was time of durga puja too so it was impossible for him to found right place to choose a right vigrah of Maa. He said keep searched at last he found one shop and saw a Maa Durga vigrah of aastha dhatu according to him he saw many vigrah their but the one vigrah kept his total attention After saw that vigrah sudden he said one word DAKSHAYANI He said he cant explain the roopam of Maa in words that time the brightness which he feel that time from that vigrah hardly anyone would have realised that their are 8 vigrah kept in front of him but the power and the brightness which he feels that in one vigrah from that 8 idols that was selected by him according to him the weight of murti 40kgs and the height of vigrah is 19inch and made of aastha dhatu. After that he brought that vigrah to his home which is in Delhi in Durga puja the Day was SASHTI (soshti) in Bengali. from then onwards the puja was started at their home with all rituals and vidhi vidhan .
