Many of the biggest financial decisions of our lives are heavily influenced by market-leading companies; finding a job, renting or buying property, choosing insurance, buying a car. Yet comprehensive classification of such companies is often lacking.

In a similar vein, high-reach media companies or well known journalists are impactful on society, yet are often not factually classified.

My goal here on Wikimedia Commons (and the Wikiverse in general) is to try address this. To provide wholistic views of companies and people in areas that can have a significant impact on the lives of millions. My day job is a market-researcher, so I have expertise in these areas. My main focus is on European companies.

I also cover sports (personal passion) and support the goals of the WikiProject Women.
