Dr Evan T Jones, Associate Professor in Economic History, University of Bristol. Also General Editor: Digitisation for the Bristol Record Society. Most of my work concerns the history of Bristol and I am committed to making resources available that can be used for studying / researching the history of the city. This includes visual sources, much of which has involved professionally digitising artistic works and then making them them freely online on a creative commons license. While I publish some of this on The Internet Archive, I find Wikimedia has greater web visibility. It also has the advantage that publishing on Wikimedia makes it easier for Wikipedia editors to use the images in their pages.
