I am a member of the Home Shop Machinist forum (HSM) that, for legacy reasons, does not allow embedded images. Members have used various photo hosting sites only to have their content disappear or, even worse, be blocked behind paywalls. Thus, I am experimenting with Wikimedia.
My goal is to both provide a long-term photo solution for HSM forums while also creating a CreativeCommons pool of useful photos that cover a rather obscure subject.
