Hello and Welcome to my home. I’m Flasty Jam 2. I edit Wikipedia from time to time and it’s mainly about weather related stuff. I’m also into Fandom Wiki under the username “Flasty Jam”. I make hypothetical hurricanes and winter storms and it was a lot of fun over there. I had a rough history and OMG it was sad.

Histroy

My Wikipedia life started nicely at first. I started back in 2016. I edited a few articles here and there. I wasn’t really into it so I kinda stopped. It’s has been a year and a half since I touched my account. Initially I had forgotten my username by the time I went back. How I came back to wikipedia was a bit interesting. So my teacher told us to lookup some info that’s chemistry-related. The only source I found was Wikipedia and my teacher said not to use Wikipedia as it was not a reliable source. Well that’s the only source I could find. So I decided that maybe with a little editing, resources can be reliable. I told the principal about this. He agreed that if the students can make wikipedia more reliable. So I decided to make a club regarding Wikipedia. I started my club on the second week of school. I had about 12 people in the club so far. I did my intro like where I’m from, my hobbies, my favorite Youtuber named (Flasty Jam hence the name) and other stuff. I was going smoothly until something really bad happened. So we were doing weather related topics and that day all of the computers were used. So it was me and two other students that had to share one computer. I saw that the Hurricane Irene article had a piece of info missing. So I put it in. Then it was deleted. I was confused. So I went to open my account but I have forgotten my username. So decided to make a new account. I tried to make my username “Flasty Jam” but it was taken. So I put a 2 in the end. So I made the edit again and it got deleted. Then I saw a note that said that it was irrelevant. I thought someone vandalized the page. So I found who made the note and told him to delete it. So he was about to do that. But a guy came along and wanted to be right. I told him that it was relevant but he didn’t want to accept it. I told him about parenthesis but he still said it was irrelevant and told me about some consensus (there’s another way to put it in without it conflicting the consensus I didn’t find it out until it was too late.) Then another person came along and argued with me to. He stated I was new to Wikipedia. I told him I had an old account. He then accused me of a sock puppet. That was a bold face lie. They brought up “Flasty Jam”. Now at that time I didn’t know who Flasty Jam was or who anyone was since I never ask what their account was. So they kept on saying that my old account was Flasty Jam. But I couldn’t tell what my old account was since I forgot what it was. Then someone made a really crazy statement that they find it hard to forget your account. If you are human you can forget things too. Then another guy comes along and it goes on and on and on. He made a false claim that I socked and didn’t even read the whole comment section. He still wanted me to be wrong. I felt that this was selfish and people are just attacking me at that point. And then the unthinkable happened. I was banned. This was ridiculous. I made my unblock request and the first person said that checkuser confirmed it. But checkuser can make errors. See: Anyway he declined my request. Then I made another one. Then the other dude cursed me out and and banned my talk page. I was really upset that my club was a goner. I even went to make the unblock ticket and gave me the worst punishment “The standard offer” The standard offer was too long for something little. I mean 6 months; you gotta be kidding me. So the next Monday I found that one of my students was “Flasty Jam”. He made the account name as a joke. Then another person named “Snazzy Fam boi” was also in my club. Those two were using the one computer that was left and they were doing that same topics that they were assigned to. Now I didn’t tell them what to type. They just did it on their own because since I guess I was on it so they were trying to help me. I told them both for safety reasons to not use their accounts so the put a retired template in their talk pages and they did. See:User:Snazzy Fam boi and User:Flasty Jam Then I told them about it and they still thought I was lying. So sadly I had to lie (or tell what what they claim the truth was so I could get my account back). I told them I did the sock puppet act. Then they gave my back my talk page access. Then they gave me the standard offer crap again. Then I told them that my club won’t be active until when school is almost over. But once again they banned my talk page after I asked a question. I was very angry what these admin are doing. So I sent a two star (poor) review and how their admins are not friendly. This was annoying and I told Wikipedia via IRC but they wanted me to leave for no legit reason. And I sent them email on how they can improve Wikipedia and so far I have not heard back from them. So decided to do a Fandom Wiki club instead to pass the time. I felt welcomed. The admin are friendly and easy to deal with. My idea was genius. I also went to Simple English Wiki and edited a few articles here and there until I was banned once again for no legit reason. And soon the Flasty Jam user abused the system. He posted a lot of negative things on one user. I told him not to do it but he did any way and I soon banned him from the club.

Goals

I want to get as many edits as I can. I want to get to 3,000 edits or more. I’m planning on joining the Tropical Cyclones Wikiproject and others. One day I want to become an admin; not just so I can receive a higher position but also to set an example on how to be a true admin. I'm planning on making essays on how to follow the rules and such. I want Wikipedia to be a reliable source so students and teachers can use this as a good source.

Club "Terms of service"

The purpose of the Wikipedia club at school is for a group of people to work together and solve ideas on how to improve the article. We do real life discussions and implement that into articles. This is to help make Wikipedia a source where everyone can enjoy.

Disclaimer: We discourage Meat puppeting. So some student have one opinion and some have another. We do not put our discussions in chats. We don’t also do this to unbalance consensuses or disrupt other things. If something like that happens, then I will do some disciplining.
