I joined the Wiki world in 2009 with the shortsighted idea of creating and maintaining articles on football players after finding no other platform that included both bio and statistics for them.
Not long after, I realised that the world of Wiki is much broader than just football and thus began contributing to a wide variety of subjects, including adding images to Commons.
