Leanne M. Williams is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Psychiatry at Stanford University. She is also the founding Director of the Stanford Center for Precision Mental Health and Wellness and of the Precision Psychiatry and Translational Neuroscience Laboratory in the Stanford School of Medicine. Her research is is advancing a new approach for diagnosing subtypes of depression based on our understanding of human brain function, and using these subtypes to personalize treatment choices [1].
