Matthias Jerkovich is an Art Historian, Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of History and Cultural Heritage of the Church at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. His research interests are focused on the Holy See's reception of visual arts. He holds an M.A. in Art history from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, M.A. in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Zagreb and is admitted to the specialist course at the Vatican School of Paleography, Diplomatics, and the Archival Science.
