MgCupcake is a self-confessed "die-hard film geek" who loves going to the cinema and hopes to one day direct her own films. She also has a fascination with foreign languages, specifically French and Russian, the latter of which she tried to learn but failed miserably. An ardent Anglophile, MgCupcake is obsessed with everything British and often feels that she has been placed in the wrong country. Her favorite music artists of all time are Radiohead, Morrissey, and Nine Inch Nails. She is also a devoted Interpol fan, and feels that their first album, Turn On The Bright Lights, was life-changing. Other obsessions include theater, the 1920s, mod culture, LGBT issues, Scandinavian countries, the American South, fashion, photography, Lolita, James Dean, parapsychology, and the Middle Ages.
