Hello! My name is Brendan Sullivan, and I'm a professor of mathematics at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.

I'm one of the two project leads for Eventmath, a Wikiversity project. The goal is to create a community portal where users can share mathematics lessons paired with news articles or social media posts about current events. Those lessons can then be used in classrooms, and feedback from users will help to improve those lessons and encourage others to use them, as well.
