As a theoretical astrophysicist I am writing a Wikipedia article in which the work of the German theoretical astrophysicist Eckart Marsch is presented, who worked especially at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) in Katlenburg-Lindaufor for almost 40 years, studying the physics of the solar wind, the solar corona and turbulence in space plasmas.
