Why have you removed Category:Preserved War Department steam locomotives? Also Category:Historical War Department steam locomotives. You also appear to be doing it to Category:Preserved British industrial steam locomotives.

Your edits don't seem right at first sight, but there may be other issues with this topics categorisation which we can discuss. In general it is best to use as much subcategorisation as possible as it makes it easier to find specific images. For an explanation of why "BR standard classes" should be a separate sub-category please see the section [2] - as you can see there are other types of steam locomotive that existed under BR.
