Renaming
[edit][1] File names are not descriptions.
- Has that child received that name some time some place? Yes.
- Has his mother received the name "Françoise Marie de Bourbon"? Yes.
- Is the picture related to a "Gobert"? It is.
Then the title Gobert - Françoise Marie de Bourbon with her son Louis of Orléans.jpg
is not wrong as far Commons naming guidelines are concerned. You should fix (if needed) that little tiny details in the description field, instead of insisting on changing "reasonably OK" filenames. Strakhov (talk) 13:29, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
- In your mind it may be, but not in Commons guidelines. Filenames are not intended to be "perfect" and generally they should not be changed unless a "an obvious error" happens (i. e. a guy being called "
John
" when he was actually named "Peter
"; "France
" being spelled "Frence
" or a file named this way:hsdjdasjlhdljahsjldhja000099912
). Cheers. Strakhov (talk) 16:10, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
