Adding/removing categories[edit]
Hello, and welcome to Wikimedia Commons! You might not have realized it, but with some of your recent edits, you removed categories from a page or added categories that seemed misplaced to a page. Wikimedia Commons relies on categories heavily to keep media organized. Therefore, please do not severely alter the categories of a page without explaining why in the edit summary (unless you are adding categories to a page that previously didn't have any). Thank you. Please use edit summaries[edit]
Hello, and welcome to Wikimedia Commons! Thank you for you contributions. When you make edits other than uploading files, please leave a descriptive edit summary so that others know exactly what type of changes you have made, especially when making potentially controversial edits. Summaries such as "added abc, removed xyz" are generally not as helpful as summaries such as "added abc because of xyz". If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask me. Again, welcome!
