- Hi, per this discussion at COM:VP, I have tagged the file accordingly, and leave it for an OTRS volunteer to confirm that SuSanA has indeed obtained permission from their respective contributors to license this image as CC-BY-2.0. Chenzw Talk 11:04, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
update on black bear with cubs image
I have edited the file to include a link to the image. Please let me know if it is correct now.
I had uploaded this image from flickr using the wiki wizard, and entered all the information that was requested. Apparently the link to the flickr image was not entered in the proper location. The wizard accepted the image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.127.116.11 (talk • contribs) 20:01, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
Grasshoppers in the Field sculpture
Hi, I'm new to contributing and would like to continue contributing my images. What does FOP mean? The image is my own, originally published: https://www.flickr.com/photos/number7cloud/19860233006/in/dateposted-public/ Would you mind explaining more so I don't make this same mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lashaull (talk • contribs) 14:01, 03 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, you may find this page useful: Commons:Freedom of panorama. In essence, there are some countries (such as the US) where it is not okay to take a photo of a work of art/architecture and upload that photo under a free license. For the case of your uploads, copyright belongs to Gary Greff, and his permission would be needed before photographs of his sculptures can be accepted here. Chenzw Talk 14:07, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
