Sandra Ezekwesili
[edit]Hello Jay8g, I hope this message meets you well. Images of Sandra Ezekwesili was taken down and I kindly wanted to ask about how to go about getting it back up. I had the express permission of the public figure to use that Image. Martinschukwudera (talk) 10:28, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- Please see the instructions in the messages on your talk page, referring you to COM:VRT. However, having the permission of "the public figure" is not sufficient as they are not the copyright holder of photos taken of them. You will need evidence that the actual copyright holder (generally the photographer) has released the photos under a free license. You also can not claim that they are your "own work", as you did when you uploaded them, when they are not. Jay8g (talk) 02:05, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
