Help with LaLiga logos[edit]

Hi Josve, I've seen that you are an editor dedicated to logo disclosure. We from LaLiga are trying to change the logos that other editors have put, to the correct logos. To do this we have uploaded the table on the evolution of LaLiga brand, specifically “File:Evolution of brand LaLiga.jpg”, in which you can see the evolution of the brand and the different logos. Now the removal of this chart has been requested. What I ask you please is if you can help us so that it is not removed, and if you can tell me what is the proper procedure so that the logos are not removed. Thank you very much AraceliLaLiga (talk) 05:05, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To ensure that the logos are not removed due to copyright concerns, it's essential that the copyright owner of the logos provides permission for their use under a free license. This can be done by either:
  1. Posting a notice on the official website indicating the intent to release the logos under a free license.
  2. Sending an email to our Volunteer Response Team, who can verify the authenticity of the permission provided.
As the logos have been published elsewhere before their publication on Wikimedia Commons, it's crucial to verify that the copyrights have been appropriately donated. This verification process helps maintain the integrity of our licensing standards and ensures compliance with copyright laws.

Hello, the owner of the work is me, I actually added my username short form in owner section. Please can you remove that tag from it. Zendrago X (talk) 10:58, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have done that work, but still I have doubt that only I need to verify it? There are several pictures here. Why only that one? Zendrago X (talk) 13:50, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All images require COM:EVIDENCE or copyright status. This looked dubious, therefore it requires that you confirm copyright status with VRT.

I would agree that this is questionable. This looks to be a professionaly taken image, and the missing EXIF data raises more suspicions. Ideally, working though COM:VRT or uploading the original image would be very helpful towards resolving questions. Ravensfire (talk) 18:13, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have done that work and mailed VRT, now can I remove that tag from it now? Zendrago X (talk) 10:15, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ravensfire There is "editing" existing in the world, anyone can edit any pic or change any background. There is a pic similar to this [File:Sukhvinder Singh CM.jpg]. Editing the background can sometimes remove EXIF data from pictures. Zendrago X (talk) 10:43, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, a VRT volunteer agent will remove the tag if the email is sufficient, or will request more information. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 12:02, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
