Yuyuan Gardens vs. Chenghuang Miao

I noticed that you redirected Category:Yuyuan Gardens to Category:Chenghuang Miao and explained why back in September. However I question treating the two as being one and the same (I came back from Shanghai myself 2 weeks ago). You said that the gardens are more commonly known as Chenghuang Miao, however search engine hits on this term keep turning up references to the City God Temple and the general area centered around it if they relate to Shanghai but not the gardens in and of themselves. The term is also mentioned at en:Chinese folk religion#Gods and goddesses as being a general term for the shrines of city deities; a few online hits turn up references to temples in other cities. I thus think that redirecting the gardens to Chenghuang Miao is misleading because the gardens are a separate entity although they are in the area. I am suggesting undoing the redirect of Yuyuan Gardens to Chenghuang Miao and categorizing the former under Chenghuang Miao to keep them separate. --BrokenSphere 18:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

About the naming...this is a multilingual project. There will be places where native names (other languages transliterated) in English will be used instead of the English name itself (in this case it is City God Temple). When that happens, {{Category redirect}} should be fine. I'm still thinking about the category structure issue though. O2 () 22:25, 09 November 2007 (GMT)

Question

Could this image be considered a derivative? I personally think it's harmless, but I've been known to be wrong in the past :-) --Boricuæddie 23:34, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Depends on the main subject. O2 () 00:34, 12 November 2007 (GMT)
The main subject is the theater. --Boricuæddie 00:44, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

substing ...

I noticed the O bot subst'ed the {{Speedywhat}} template on the Commons:Message_templates page itself... I reverted this edit: [1] but maybe I am wrong? If so, let's talk on the pump. ++Lar: t/c 06:07, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

No, you did the right thing. I forgot to set the user talk namespace only setting when I ran the command. Thanks for noticing! O2 () 21:26, 12 November 2007 (GMT)

Request

Hello, O. Can your bot rename the category:Lysgardsbakken to Lysgårdsbakken, because of spelling error? --Junafani 19:45, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
