Description
English: Backdropped by Earth's horizon and the blackness of space, the International Space Station is seen from Space Shuttle Discovery as the two spacecraft begin their relative separation. Earlier the STS-128 and Expedition 20 crew concluded nine days of cooperative work onboard the shuttle and station. Undocking of the two spacecraft occurred at 2:26 p.m. (CDT) on Sept. 8, 2009.
Deutsch: Den Erdhorizont und die Schwärze des Alls im Hintergrund wird die Internationale Raumstation vom Space Shuttle Discovery erblickt, als die beiden Raumfahrzeuge ihre gegenseitige Trennung beginnen. Davor beendeten die Mannschaften von STS-128 und Expedition 20 neun Tage kooperativer Arbeit an Bord des Shuttles und der Station. Das Abdocken der zwei Raumfahrzeuge geschah am 8. September 2009 um 21:26 MESZ.
