Hello, I am user Thiotrix,
a german biologist with Diploma and ph.D (= Dr.rer.nat.), specialized on plant systematics and plant ecology.

For the Wiki Commons, my main project is to add taxonavigation sections, links to databases and wikidata, interwiki-links and vernacular names, and to create structured species galleries. Additionally, I help categorizing the large bulk of uncategorized media of organisms. I upload photographs of plants, marine algae and insects and of protected areas.
